U.S. Determined to Oust Saddam Despite Iraqi Offer

Like it matters. The mere idea that inspectors can be "invited" back in shows that the inspection regime has failed. It was never meant to be a matter of convenience. I'm glad the U.S. is taking the lead on this because it's clear the Security Council does not mind having a dictator thumb his nose at the world community.
