From MEMRI comes these excerpts from a series of articles in the London Arabic daily Al-Sharq Al-Awsat. The author basically says that had the Arabs expended on improving their own societies the energies they expended on drumming up the "Palestinian cause," living conditions in the Arab world would be much better than they are today.
