My Way News reports: "WHO has declared the swine flu strain a pandemic, and it has killed almost 1,800 people worldwide through last week. International attention has focused on how the pandemic is progressing in southern hemisphere countries such as Australia, which are experiencing winter and their flu season."

Comment: The thing to remember is that at this point it is like another version of the common seasonal flu, and the pandemic status is based on the spread of the disease not how lethal it is. Unless it mutates into a much more lethal variant, it won't be the "killer flu" that the media first made it out to be.
