My Way News reports: "Israel's prime minister on Tuesday said he would take a series of 'aggressive steps' to halt a wave of violence in Israeli cities after
two attacks in Jerusalem left three Israelis dead. Three Palestinians,
including two attackers, were also killed. [...] The violence erupted last month over the Jewish New Year, fueled by rumors that Israel was plotting to take over Jerusalem's most sensitive holy site. While Israel says the rumors are unfounded, clashes have quickly spread across Israel and into the West Bank and Gaza Strip."

soldiers after a particular bloody day of violence.
White House press secretary Josh Earnest said Tuesday 'the U.S. condemns
in the strongest possible terms the terrorist attacks, the recent
terrorist attacks against Israeli civilians which resulted in the murder
of three Israelis and left numerous others wounded.' He said the U.S.
stresses the 'importance of condemning violence and combating
incitement.'"
