7.3-magnitude earthquake rattles Philippines, Indonesia - UPI.com
UPI reports: "The U.S. Geological Survey said a 7.3-magnitude earthquake occurred in
the Celebes Sea between the Philippines and Indonesia on Tuesday.
The quake occurred at a depth of about 380 miles. Officials did not
issue a tsunami warning, advisory, watch or threat, the U.S. National
Tsunami Warning Center said."
Comment: At 7.3 magnitude, that's a very large earthquake and would have done a lot of damage if it struck a populated region.
