Interestingly, the phrase Allah Achbar actually translates not merely as "God is great" but actually as "God is greater." The use of the comparative is highly instructive--because it shows that Muslims are really saying that their god is greater than our God. But sooner or later God Himself will remind people sharply that putting God to the test is absolutely the wrong thing to do.
