My Way News reports: "The Hawaiian woman whose recovery from lung cancer was called miraculous says the Belgian-born priest she prayed to is already a saint, even before the pope canonizes him Sunday [...] Pope Benedict XVI decided Toguchi's apparently inexplicable healing from what doctors had described as terminal cancer was a miracle wrought through Damien's intercession."

Comment: Do you think someone will tell her that he is a regular run-of-the-mill dead human who has no divine powers to hear prayers, much less answer them? It's sad that the Catholic Church continues to teach this error. The disciples asked Jesus how to pray. It was a simple question. And he answered them. It was a simple answer. He actually didn't say to pray to dead people. Really, he never said that. You can even look it up for yourself (here and here) if you are curious about how Jesus said we should pray...and to whom.
