My Way News - Biden condemns new Israeli settlement plan
My Way News reports: "Vice President Joe Biden condemned an Israeli plan to build hundreds of homes in disputed east Jerusalem on Tuesday - a disagreement that tarnished a high-profile visit that had been aimed at repairing ties with the Jewish state and kickstarting Mideast peace talks."

Comment: Oh no, Israel is still building in Israel! Look, just because the Palestinians "claim" land doesn't mean it's not longer Israeli land. That's the point of final status negotiations, to determine that kind of thing. Until there is an agreement, Israel should be free to build on all the land of Israel. Although the media is making a lot of this, as well the the promise of restarting peace talks, nothing has changed. And by that, I don't mean Israel's building program, I mean Iran's proxy fighters in Gaza and Lebanon ready to pounce if Mideast peace looks close to breaking out. Iran is the real enemy of peace in the Middle East, they are the obstacle, not Israel building a few new houses. I really wish Western media (and politicians) could keep things in perspective.
