Earthquakes

Earthquakes in Western Canada blamed on fracking - UPI.com
UPI reports: "New research suggests hydraulic fracturing, or fracking, is inducing earthquakes in Western Canada. Though alarming, the correlation isn't new. Several studies have linked gas and oil operations in the Plains states to a rise in the frequency of earthquakes."

Comment:  I wonder if this earthquake danger is decreasing due to the changing economics of the oil industry? The price of oil is so low now that fracking is quickly losing economic viability.
