Hamas says Israel agreed to cease-fire after day of heavy fighting - UPI.com
UPI reports: "Hamas officials said Wednesday a cease-fire with Israel is holding
after one of the most violent days in Gaza in years, but Israel says no
such agreement has been reached. [...] Tuesday, Israel's military
launched airstrikes into Gaza to retaliate for a large mortar attack
against Israeli settlements. The strikes came shortly after Israeli
Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu vowed to 'respond with great force' to
the attacks, which officials said included 28 mortar shells.
Haaretz reported more fire was directed at Israel early Wednesday but
the fighting has mostly stopped."
Comment: They again fail to note that Hamas is an Iranian proxy. Perhaps they should ask Tehran if the cease-fire will hold?
