My Way News - Rouhani: Final nuclear deal 'within reach'
My Way News reports: "President Hassan Rouhani said a final nuclear deal is "within reach" as
Iran and six world powers face a June 30 deadline for an agreement.
Rouhani told a press conference Saturday that negotiations between Iran
and the six-nation group - the U.S., Russia, China, Britain, France and
Germany - are making progress, although some gaps still remain."
Comment: Wasn't it just two weeks ago that Iran said no inspections of military facilities would be allowed? I don't see how any deal is possible without intrusive treaty verification inspections being agreed upon. If the U.S. and Russia could agree to that during the Cold War, certainly the Six and Iran can agree on that now. If not, there's really no hope that a treaty will stop Iran from becoming a nuclear power.
