Niagara Falls Bridge Commission Selects Bioscrypt V-Prox for Biometric Access Control

Tuesday, July 5 2005

Bioscrypt announced the Niagara Falls Bridge Commission (NFBC) has selected Bioscrypt V-Prox biometric access control readers to assist in their function of making sure facilities, such as bridges and plazas, are secure for safe movement of both people and goods. The system will also aid in controlling liability claims.

Areas within the newly constructed, state-of-the-art NFBC headquarters requiring the highest level of security, such as server rooms and telecommunication rooms, have been equipped with Bioscrypt technology. Adding a second component of verification, matching an individual's fingerprint at the point of entry with information stored on their employee card, provides the multi-factor authentication capability that strengthens access control.
