VOA - UN Debates Security Council Enlargement
The U.N. is continuing to debate plans to enlarge the Security Council, they want to add ten new members. Which ten countries get to be represented? Which regions of the world are deserving of representation? Can Europe get more representation while Africa and Asia feel they deserve a place at the table? You can imagine the back-room negotiating and deals that are going on right now as this process continues.
