AP reports: "The chief of Hamas said Saturday that the Palestinian militant group would accept an Egyptian proposal for a cease-fire with Israel but it would be a 'tactic' in the group's struggle with the Jewish state."

Comment: And it doesn't undermine them when they say this in public? What if Israel publicly acknowledged that they were seeking peace with the Palestinians as a mere tactic in their larger effort to destroy them? Do you think anyone might notice that, maybe protest that, just a little?
