My Way News - Report: Assad would like to meet Obama
AP reports: "Syrian President Bashar Assad has expressed worry over what he sees as Israeli society's turn to the right, according to a newspaper interview published Wednesday. Assad also said he would like to meet President Barack Obama, the Rome daily La Repubblica reported."

Comment: I still think Assad is playing off both sides, Israel and Iran, he has not really decided which side he is on, though it would appear (based on BP) that he or one of his successors will make the fateful decision to stand against Israel.
