MEMRI: 2003 Palestinian Authority Textbook Calls for Jihad and Martyrdom
The PA returns to its true colors--and when the government controls the printing of the textbooks, you can always tell what they really think by reading such books. They brazenly call for the spread of Islam by all means, including physical warfare--thus giving the lie to all claims that jihad does not mean physical warfare [Matthew 24:6].

This textbook also includes their critique of Christian missions. Like all leaders of Muslim theocracies, they are very sensitive to criticism and reject it all as unjust and hypocritical. But Christians can learn one thing from their counter-claims. The PA textbook speaks of "admiration and adoption of the Western way of life," which they describe as "materialistic and exploitative." Here they confuse Christianity with secularism. Now we may dismiss them as being the real hypocrites here, but we cannot ignore all of their criticisms of Western culture, such as it is today. The reason is that we have many of the same reservations as they have--which is why I have always stated that the great war of civilizations, leading up to the ride of the red horse [Revelation 6:3-4], is actually a three-cornered war--with Christians in one corner, Muslims in another, and secularists in a third.
