MEMRI: Saudi Court Finds In Favor of an Author Sued for 'Secularism'
The article mainly contains reaction to the verdict, which actually came down in December 2003. Now maybe MEMRI picked a skewed sample, but it quoted three reactions, all of them highly favorable and some of them saying that the author's plight highlights much of what is wrong with Saudi society. This includes without limitation what the Saudis teach their children in school--something for Americans to remember, given that the Saudis routinely fund schools called madrassas that openly foment hate and arguably incite to treason.::Submitted for your wild man in the desert [Genesis 25] files.
