The Telegraph reports: "Senior American intelligence and defence officials believe that President George W Bush and his inner circle are taking steps to place America on the path to war with Iran, The Sunday Telegraph has learnt."

Thanks for your comment. My impression was that Bush's reference to 36 countries was based on exaggeration and the need to sell the war as something other than U.S. and British troops and the few other countries that have sent support.
