The Washington Post reports: "A magnitude-6.2 magnitude earthquake damaged walls, shattered windows and knocked out electricity in parts of far-northern Chile and the Peruvian city of Tacna but no injuries or major damage were reported."

Fox News reports: "A magnitude 6.0 earthquake shook Papua New Guinea on Wednesday morning, the US Geological survey reported. The quake struck 29 miles west of Kimbe town on the island of New Britain. The impact on the surrounding area was not clear, although were no immediate reports of injuries and no tsunami warning was issued."

The Jerusalem Post reports: "A 5.3 magnitude earthquake shook the eastern Mediterranean on Friday night, with locals in countries throughout the Levant reporting the quake. The United States Geological Survey’s website said the quake at a depth of 19.8 km. occurred in the sea between Cyprus and Lebanon at 9:48 p.m. local time."
