Nations in Distress

My Way News - 'Let us go!' Migrants ford icy river, burn tents in Slovenia
My Way News reports: "While the government said it was still investigating the cause, police at the scene told The Associated Press that migrants had set a stack of UNHCR-supplied blankets deliberately on fire to protest conditions in the camp on the outskirts of Brezice. [...] Many migrants from the Middle East, Asia and Africa expressed bewilderment and disappointment because they had been told as they began their journeys in Turkey that the hard part would end once they reached EU countries like Croatia and Slovenia. Many had expected other countries to permit them free passage to wealthier western countries, particularly Germany, that they hope to make home."

Comment: It's a shame they don't have a spirit of gratitude when imposing on the hospitality of other countries. They should be thankful for whatever is offered.  How does one explain this bizarre sense of entitlement as if they have a right to live in Germany? I'm still waiting on an explanation as to why the wealthy Gulf states are not taking them in. One would think they would naturally gravitate to countries with whom they share kinship and sectarian ties. The fact that they are not doing so lends credence to some of the more outlandish conspiracy theories. There does seem to be an agenda at work.
