Blood moon eclipses: 2nd Coming in 2015? - WND

WND reports: "A minister who promotes the Old Testament roots of Christianity suggests a rare string of lunar and solar eclipses said to fall on God's annual holy days seven years from now could herald what's come to be known as the 'Second Coming' of Jesus."

Comment: This is interesting. When I first read the report I was a bit skeptical and fearful that it amounts to date-setting, which is never a productive exercise. However, on re-reading it, I realize that he isn't date-setting, he is simply calling attention to a historical pattern of lunar and solar eclipse cycles falling on Jewish feast days, noting that this pattern is rare, and that the next occurrence of this pattern will be in 2014 and 2015. He isn't saying that the Second Coming will in fact happen then, he is simply saying that it opens up the possibility for the fulfillment of Bible prophecy on dates that are perpetually important to God and that we should pay attention to this. I don't think there's anything wrong with paying attention, do you?
