This Day in Paranormal History: ‘Washington flap’ UFO wave of 1952 - Paranormal Old Pueblo

The Tucson Citizen reports: "Today marks the 58th anniversary of a bizarre wave of UFO sightings in Washington D.C. that wrapped up on July 27, 1952. Also known as the “Washington flap”, the sightings took place over two-week period, most notably July 19/20 and July 26/27. Unlike the recent China UFO sighting, these objects in 1952 were detected on radar in two places: Washington National Airport and Andrews Air Force Base. The objects reportedly reached speeds of up to 7,200 mph. (Yes, 7,200 mph. That is not a typo.)"

Comment: Let's be skeptical for a moment and suggest that the most famous UFO event in history, the Roswell Incident, was a hoax or a myth, nothing more than a misidentified military exercise involving high altitude weather balloons crashing to Earth. But this event, when UFOs buzzed the capital city of the United States, this event happened, it's been verified and corroborated. I've long felt that there is indeed a military cover-up of UFO matters because of this event and properly so. No foreign power can invade the skies over our capital without provoking a military response and I'm sure a response followed. That the response was kept secret does not bother me. I just hope our military has correctly identified those foreign powers and understand their hatred and enmity toward humanity is limitless. Is it possible that the military could apply a Biblical perspective and therefore gain a strategic advantage? Maybe, but it's doubtful in this secular age, but we can always hope...and pray.
