Haaretz - Israel cabinet approves Gilad Shalit prisoner swap
Haaretz reports: "Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's cabinet voted early Wednesday morning to approve a prisoner swap that will see Gilad Shalit, the IDF soldier who has been in Hamas captivity for the last five years, return to Israel."

Comment: Those nice peace-loving Palestinians have been entertaining Private Shalit at a vacation resort in Hamas controlled territory for five years now. As a peace gesture, they are going to let him go without any conditions. They realize that they could have let him go at an time, but he was just having so much fun they didn't want to spoil it. It's great to see the Palestinians really showing their sincere desire for peace.
