My Way News reports: "Egypt and Saudi Arabia say they aim to boost military, economic, and
social ties and pursue their common interests.
In a statement released after a meeting between President Abdel-Fattah
el-Sissi and Saudi Defense Minister and Deputy Crown Prince Mohammed bin
Salman on Thursday, el-Sissi's office says the two leaders also will
work to create a joint Arab military force."
My Way News - US delivering 8 newer F-16 warplanes to Egypt
My Way News reports: "The United States Embassy in Cairo says the U.S. is delivering eight
newer F-16 warplanes to Egypt as part of an ongoing military support
package.
It says in a Thursday statement that the aircraft, of the current Block
52 production variant, will be flown in from the U.S. and delivered to
an air base outside Cairo by Friday."
