My Way News - Appeals judges mock 'fleeting expletives' policy
My Way News reports: "A federal appeals court seemed poised Wednesday to toss out a government policy that can lead to broadcasters being fined for allowing even a single curse word on live television, with three judges hearing arguments sometimes mocking the government's position. [...] 'What are you protecting children from?' asked Judge Pierre Leval."

Comment: Someone tell the judge that it's not about protecting children, it's about protecting civilized society. Profanity coarsens the culture, cheapens our society, and demeans our relationships. Words once spoken can never be taken back and vile words are like verbal pollution which infect all those who hear them, spreading corruption like a contagion. A judge in his position should have a concern to raise up standards in society, not tear them down to the basest level. Shame. What can one say about a judge without wisdom?
