My Way News - Turkey opposition gains ground amid eastward drift
My Way News reports: "The movement has a popular new leader following the resignation of its chairman over a sex scandal and many have high hopes that he can rejuvenate the party, presenting a viable alternative to Erdogan and anchoring Turkey firmly back in its Western orientation."

Comment: This is a promising development. Historically in Turkey, it would fall to the military to intervene in defense of the secular order. It's now increasingly unlikely that the military would act against the Islamist faction and therefore a welcome development to see democratic support for the alternative.
