My Way News - Iran presses rival Saudi Arabia over Gulf's unrest
My Way News reports: "Iran's President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad called on regional rival Saudi Arabia to pull its troops out of Bahrain, where they are helping a Sunni monarchy put down a Shiite-led protest movement demanding equal rights and a political voice."

My Way News - Gulf bloc strongly condemns Iran over Bahrain
My Way News reports: "Bahrain's state-run news agency says the Gulf's main political bloc has condemned Iran, accusing the Shiite country of trying to promote sectarian divisions in Bahrain. The statement comes after an emergency meeting of the Gulf Cooperation Council in the Saudi capital Riyadh on Sunday. Members discussed the tense situation in Bahrain, where mostly Shiite demonstrators are demanding the fall of the island's Sunni monarchy."

Comment: Iran has seized the opportunity provided by the wave of political unrest to export their Shiite Islamic revolution to neighboring Sunni states. It's not clear if they will they succeed, but the security of the region (and of Israel) hangs in the balance.
