BBC News - G8: Libya's Gaddafi 'should go', say world leaders
BBC News reports: "World leaders at the G8 summit in France have issued a joint call for the embattled Libyan leader Colonel Muammar Gaddafi to step down. Russia, which has criticised Nato's campaign in Libya, said it agreed Col Gaddafi had lost all legitimacy [...] Nato intervened in Libya after the UN passed a resolution in March mandating the protection of civilians in the country, following the uprising against Col Gaddafi."

BBC News - UK calls for G8 financial aid for 'Arab Spring'
BBC News reports: "Leading nations' financial support for the so-called Arab Spring will reduce extremism and immigration, UK Prime Minister David Cameron has said [...]At the two-day G8 summit in France, the UK and US are pushing for other pledges of financial support."
