My Way News reports: "The spiritual mentor of Iran's president has harshly criticized him for his role in an internal power struggle that has split the country's hard-liners, indicating that Mahmoud Ahmadinejad's own support base is badly fraying."

WPR - Iran's Leadership Struggle Reveals Secular-Islamist Split
World Politics Review reports: "In essence, Iran's political battle is over two possible paths ahead: a continuation of the Islamic Republic with its Islamist system of governance or the emergence of a more secular nation with elected, nonclerical officials."

Comment: Some very important developments here in the power struggle among the power elite in Iran. Our Western media have painted the Iranian president as an Islamic radical and it turns out he is a Persian nationalist. Interesting development, but still does not bode well for Israel.
