AP - Prosecutor: Girl texted with college man before stabbing
AP reports: "Two Virginia Tech students carefully planned the kidnapping and killing
of a 13-year-old girl, arranging a pre-dawn rendezvous online after
buying cleaning supplies and a shovel at separate Wal-Mart stores, a
prosecutor alleged Thursday."
Comment: I don't often link to local crime news and prefer to focus on global news but I'm making an exception in this case. This appears to be one of those crimes categorized as "thrill killings" in which criminals kill someone just to see what the experience is like. It's a crime without any real motive except for depraved indifference to the value of human life. These are truly evil people.
