UPI reports: "North Korea will not stand by and watch the United States launch a
preemptive strike, a Pyongyang foreign ministry official said Friday.
[...] The South Korean government is on high alert and stated Friday
North Korea could possibly test-launch an intercontinental ballistic
missile or conduct its sixth nuclear test [...] Analysts speculate
Pyongyang could engage in a provocation soon, possibly in time for the
celebration of founder Kim Il Sung's birth anniversary on Saturday.
[...] NBC News reported late Thursday the United States may launch a
preemptive strike against North Korea in response to a nuclear weapons
test, but others are challenging the report."
