Iran official: New U.S. sanctions would bring 'harsh' response - UPI.com
UPI reports: "An Iran foreign ministry official said Monday Tehran would respond in a
"harsh" and "decisive" manner to any new sanctions from the United
States -- or if Washington designates Iran's security force as a
terrorist organization.
The Trump administration is reportedly considering decertifying Iran's
compliance with the 2015 nuclear pact next week, at which time Congress
could impose sanctions."
Comment: If we accept that Iran is waging a proxy war with Saudi Arabia for control of the Arab and Muslim world we might be able to come up with some kind of regional strategy with like-minded allies (including Israel). A cooperative effort that goes beyond merely calling the Obama-era nuclear pact a "bad deal" might be a more productive strategy.
