European Heat Wave Kills at Least 37
AP reports, "Roadways buckled under the scorching sun in Germany, water levels on the Danube and other rivers dropped and wildfires forced tourists and residents to flee Wednesday as record-breaking heat, blamed for at least 37 deaths, tormented Europe." :: Submitted for your fearsome events (Luke 21:11) and fear for the future (Luke 21:26) files. :: The science on global warming has yielded contradictory conclusions, but it appears that there are a lot of people in Europe who have no doubts about the reality of the phenomenon. Some meteorologists are suggesting that Europeans may just as well get used to it, as it will happen every summer from here on out. Regardless of whether global warming is real or not, it is something that fills people with trepidation for the future, which is what Luke 21:26 is all about.
