My Way News - Italy museum defies pope anger over crucified frog
AP reports: "An art museum in northern Italy said Thursday it will continue displaying a sculpture portraying a green frog nailed to a cross that has angered Pope Benedict XVI and local officials."

Comment: I'm filing this under persecution because I think it's a kind of persecution when the universal symbol of Christianity is mocked in this manner. If this had been an Islamic symbol there would be rioting in the streets and death threats against the museum officials. The good people of Italy will probably react in a civilized manner, but they should react in some way that demonstrates this this is not acceptable in a Christian country. Can you imagine, the country in which St. Peter preached and Christians were thrown to the lions is now a country in which a museum feels no qualms about displaying such a depiction of the crucifixion?
