My Way News - Russian FM: Iran sanctions threats won't work
My Way News reports: "Russia publicly pushed back Tuesday against U.S. efforts to threaten tough new sanctions if Iran fails to prove its nuclear program is peaceful, dealing an apparent setback to President Barack Obama's hopes for Moscow's backing for fresh penalties against Tehran."

Russia, China sign $3.5 bln of deals as Putin visits - Reuters
Reuters reports: "Russian and Chinese companies have signed deals worth $3.5 billion during Russian Prime Minister Vladimir Putin's visit to Beijing, his deputy Alexander Zhukov said on Tuesday."

Comment: I don't think anyone is deceived by Russia, they have made their position clear. They are in an alliance with China to roll back American hegemony and they will use Iran and any other issue (like U.S. support for Israel - it's coming) they can to do that. They have a grand strategy. I'd like to think that the U.S. has the long game in mind as well, but I'm not seeing it. Obama may be good at basketball, but I don't think he is very good at chess. Do you see any indication that he is thinking three or four moves ahead? American allies need to be able to believe that he is. I bet the Israelis are very worried now, the "international consensus on Iran" is proving to be a mirage and every day that goes by means that Iran is closer to having nuclear weapons.
