My Way News - Hezbollah slams Gates' remarks over weapons
My Way News reports: "A Hezbollah official on Wednesday slammed comments by the U.S. defense secretary accusing the militant group of having more weapons than most governments in the world, and pledged to continue arming [...] Israel has accused Syria of providing Hezbollah with Scud missiles, which have a greater range and can carry a much bigger warhead than the rockets Hezbollah fired at Israel in the past."

My Way News - Egypt convicts 26 of spying, plotting attacks
My Way News reports: "An Egyptian court on Wednesday convicted 26 men of spying for the Lebanese militant group Hezbollah and plotting attacks in Egypt, and gave them prison sentences ranging from six months to life [...] Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah has admitted to sending an agent to supervise weapons shipments to Hamas in Gaza, but he has denied seeking to undermine Egypt's security."

My Way News - Hamas says Egypt kills 4 tunnel smugglers with gas
My Way News reports: "Israel and Egypt have kept Gaza's official border crossings closed since Hamas seized control of the coastal strip in 2007 [...] Egypt has stepped up a crackdown on smuggling in recent months, blowing up numerous tunnel entrances on its side of the border, setting up checkpoints in the area and confiscating contraband. Since December, Egypt has also been building an underground steel wall to block the tunnels."

Comment: The Palestinians, so peaceful, anyone can see it. It looks like this concerted action has helped to reveal just how peaceful they are by cutting off weapons supply routes and arresting arms dealers.
