My Way News - Tunisians drive leader from power in mass uprising
My Way News reports: "After 23 years of iron-fisted rule, the president of Tunisia was driven from power Friday by violent protests over soaring unemployment and corruption. Virtually unprecedented in modern Arab history, the populist uprising sent an ominous message to authoritarian governments that dominate the region."

Comment: Tunisia is an interesting country. It's the former seat of the Carthaginian Empire, defeated by Rome, and then later (much later) a French colony and then a relatively stable independent country until unemployment forced people into the streets to oppose their president-for-life dictator. What now? Well, for our purpose, we need to carefully watch when/how northern Africa becomes increasingly radicalized.
