UPI reports: "A 7.1 earthquake rocked the East Coast of New Zealand's North Island
Friday, knocking out power to thousands, closing schools and rail lines
and triggering a tsunami warning, authorities said.
The quake struck just before dawn and was felt over much the country."
Comment: A 7.1 magnitude quake is a big one, no loss of life is a miracle. Looks like the "ring of fire" is getting active.
