Cheney Ready To Meet Arafat
CNN reports that U.S. Vice-President Dick Cheney says he would be willing to meet Yasser Arafat, providing the Palestinian leader implements a cease-fire brokered last year by CIA chief George Tenet. Nice strategy though, he expresses willingness to meet Arafat after leaving Jerusalem. So, it appears that it is time (again) for Arafat to step up to the plate, or risk further alienating the Americans and being denied permission to attend the Arab summit by Sharon. Arafat is in a box that only he can get out of, let's see what he does. Submitted for your battle for Jerusalem and covenant with many files.
