U.S. peace envoy arrives in Israel as fighting rages
Anthony Zinni, the senior U.S. envoy to the Middle East, arrived in Israel on Thursday to try to pull the Israelis and Palestinians apart after some of the biggest operations and greatest bloodletting of their long struggle.
