My Way News - Venezuelans protest Chavez's new socialist push
AP reports: "Riot police used tear gas Wednesday to block hundreds of Venezuelans protesting the latest moves by President Hugo Chavez to concentrate his power. The demonstrators said a blacklist of opposition candidates and a series of socialist decrees are destroying what's left of their democracy."

Comment: Ah the benefits of a socialist workers paradise, so wonderful to behold. It's sad to see another tyrant rise in the long history of South America, they had enough of that in the 20th Century. As the people-power socialist tyrant turns his guns (or gas) on his own people, we can expect to see more social unrest in this major oil exporter.
