AP reports: "An 88-year-old gunman with a violent and virulently anti-Semitic past opened fire with a rifle inside the crowded U.S. Holocaust Memorial Museum on Wednesday, fatally wounding a security guard before being shot himself by other officers, authorities said."
Comment: Another reminder of the rise in antisemitism. I've noticed reports about incidents in Europe (synagogues attacked, cemeteries vandalized) but this is a reminder that this is also happening in the United States. The following video from CNBC shows U.S. citizens wearing swastikas and proclaiming their hatred for Jews and minorities. Didn't they learn in school that the Nazis lost the war and that many of their fellow citizens gave their lives to defeat them?
