My Way News - Israelis, Palestinians present peace blueprint
My Way News reports: "Jerusalem divided by a series of fences, trenches and walls. The West Bank and Gaza linked by a sunken highway. Palestinians and Israelis trading land that would require 100,000 Jewish settlers to move. These proposals are part of a 424-page blueprint for Mideast peace presented Tuesday - the most detailed description yet of what an Israeli-Palestinian peace deal could look like."

My Way News - US envoy pressing for settlement curtailment
My Way News reports: "The Obama administration's special envoy to the Mideast is staying in the region an extra day to press Israel to curb its settlement expansion. U.S. envoy George Mitchell had tried to reach an agreement with Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on Tuesday, but no breakthroughs were announced."

Comment: Interesting contrast to these two peace plans. One, an informal plan set forth by peace activists, the other, the official U.S. plan that has to deal with the tortured political realities on the ground...and neither look very promising.
