My Way News reports: "A 2004 law in France banned wearing Muslim headscarves at public schools, along with Jewish skullcaps and large Christian crosses. That law sparked fierce debate both at home and abroad."

: I wish France will in their battle to preserve their cultural identity. I don't understand though why they just can't ban Muslim headscarves, niqab, or burqas and allow traditional symbols that are very much a part of French identity. There is no cause to ban Christian crosses just to prevent the self-abnegation of women. I have great reservations about giving any quarter to a warrior religion that is anti-Christian, anti-science, and anti-women. It's time for the West to wake up to the threat that Islam poses to the foundation of Western civilization and France deserves credit for joining the battle, even if it is just a very French battle over fashion.
