My Way News - Arabs ask for EU support on Israel nuke resolution: "Muslim nations consider Israel the region's main nuclear threat. The United States and its allies see Iran's defiance of the U.N. Security Council in its development of technology that could be used to make the bomb as the greatest menace to Middle East peace."

Comment: Why should we support the Israeli exception to nuclear non-proliferation treaties? Because Israel has never threatened to destroy another country (like Iran has) and has a demonstrated track record for responsible nuclear status going back decades. The issue isn't what Israel will do with nuclear weapons, it's what crazy clerics and mad jihadis will do with them. The nuclear double-standard is easy to understand: good-guys can have nukes, bad guys can't. That said, I'm worried about where this is going, that nuclear security is getting wrapped up with Mideast peace talks, and threatening to turn into a regional security arrangement that trades Israeli nukes for Arab recognition and peace. It seems unlikely, but this seems to be the age of the unlikely.
