Obama Plan: Temple Mount Under Arab-Muslim Sovereignty - Israel National News

Arutz Sheva reports: "The Middle East peace plan that United States President Barack Obama will unveil soon involves the creation of a Palestinian Authority state by 2011 and the transfer of Islamic holy sites in Jerusalem [presumably including the Temple Mount – ed.] to Arab-Muslim sovereignty, Saudi newspaper Al-Ukaz has learned."

Israel won't accept limitations on its sovereignty in J'lem - Jerusalem Post
The Jerusalem Post reports: "Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu arrived in London on Monday for two days of meetings with British Prime Minister Gordon Brown and US Mideast mediator George Mitchell, making clear that he will not allow anyone to question Israel's sovereignty over Jerusalem."

Comment: The INN report says that President Obama will announce the new U.S. peace plan at the U.N. General Assembly meeting in September. INN is a right wing Israeli news source (quoting a Saudi source!) and some of their reporting has been more sensational than credible, so I would take the first report with a grain of salt, but their timeline for the peace process currently underway makes sense. The second report indicates how improbable it is that any Israeli PM will agree the the specifics outlined in the INN report.
