World Net Daily - Muslim leader wants Temple rebuilt
WND reports: "In a historically unprecedented development, a famous Turkish Muslim leader and a prominent group of Israeli rabbis have joined together on one of their declared goals, to rebuild the Jewish Temple in Jerusalem."

Comment: This could be a very important development and I'm looking for confirmation from other sources. The report says that there is an alliance of Muslim and Jewish leaders trying to rebuild the temple as an international expression of peace, a temple for all people and all nations. This fits in well with the "international Jerusalem" meme that is developing as part of the latest Mideast peace effort. What is the "international Jerusalem" meme? It's the idea that Jerusalem is too important to belong only to Israel or be shared only with the Palestinians, it should belong to all people and all faiths, and therefore will come under international control as part of the final peace treaty between Israel and the Palestinians. It's seems unbelievable, but that is the direction in which things are heading.
